Accidentally in Love

I’ve walked this life with my head in the clouds,
eyes in a book, or a problem to resolve;
a figment of imagination,
a part of reality,
or a little bit of both I may never know.

The darkness of the world felt distant,
drumming,
theory of chaos.
Life doesn’t always have the structure that words provide.
Sentences have syntax and rhythm.
I know words to describe how it felt when our eyes first met;
a brief encounter of serendipitous time...

	(serendipitous: adjective
	1. occurring or discovered by chance in a happy or beneficial way.)

...and how you see me now…

	(kismet: noun.
	1. destiny; fate)

...which, I know you don’t believe in, but much like you,
I believe our choices dictate
which path we take when stumbling upon a crossroad.
Something called; a bit like destiny.
Words are defined for healthy love,
but none of it prepared me for the unconditional.

	(loving you:
1. an intimate taste of celestial kismet)
